Reinforced Concrete Shelters and Blast-Resistant Doors – Built for Civilian and Strategic Protection

Shelter & Bunker provides advanced civil defense solutions designed to protect against a wide range of modern threats.
Our structures are based on designs developed and tested in Israel over the past 76 years – a country where the threat of attack is a daily reality.
These solutions have been proven effective under continuous pressure, including rocket fire, drone strikes, and artillery attacks.
Across Europe, the construction of private and public shelters is gaining popularity.
This growing demand is not only due to the risk of direct missile strikes from hostile nations like Russia. In fact, one of the most lethal threats comes from falling shrapnel and debris, even when missile defenses are partially effective.
Without proper shelter infrastructure, civilians are exposed and vulnerable.
In such conditions, air defense systems cannot operate freely within residential areas, increasing the probability of harm.
As a result, people are more likely to be injured or killed by falling fragments – not necessarily from direct hits, but from the unavoidable consequences of modern warfare.
Above ground and underground shelters
The Shelter & Bunker brand was created within the Stal Impex sp. z o.o. company.
Stal Impex is a manufacturing company with 28 years of experience in the industry.
One of our key areas of specialization is the production of underground and above-ground shelters and bunkers, designed to offer reliable protection in times of crisis.
Our standard bunkers are built to accommodate between 4 and 50 people in the event of war, nuclear incidents, or chemical and biological threats.
These reinforced concrete structures provide protection against shrapnel, blast waves, and extreme weather events, ensuring both safety and durability under pressure.
In addition to standard models, we also design and manufacture customized protective structures for larger groups, such as those needed by institutions or civil defense organizations.
Projects include shelters for 100 to 200 people, such as underground hospitals, emergency command centers, and other facilities requiring complex or simplified reinforced concrete infrastructure.
Every design is tailored to meet functional, spatial, and safety requirements, with a focus on long-term reliability.

Projects based on war experiences

30 years of experience in design
All of our protective structures are designed by Israel’s most experienced engineering company in the field of military-grade construction.
This firm serves as a long-standing consultant to the Israeli Ministry of Defense and brings over 30 years of expertise in designing bunkers and seismic-resistant reinforced concrete shelters.
In light of the recent decision by the Polish government, based on the Civil Protection and Civil Defense Act of December 5, 2024, we would like to officially present our services to you.
Shelters and equipment
A shelter tailored to your needs

Protective structures
Our shelters and bunkers should be seen as a form of protection against potential threats – much like a fire extinguisher.
Just as we equip ourselves with an extinguisher in case of fire, not during one, we should also think about protective solutions in advance.
In other words, a fire extinguisher should be in your home before a fire breaks out – not while the house is already in flames.
Similarly, protective structures need to be prepared ahead of time, so that we have a real chance to protect ourselves and our loved ones when danger strikes.
Designed to protect families
Backyard Shelter
In the event of an alarm, we often have only a few dozen seconds to reach a safe hiding place.
Therefore, it is crucial to disperse protective structures and place them as close to the residence as possible.
This strategy has already been implemented in Israel – a country that has been in a state of war for 76 years, where the threat of attack is a daily reality.
In Israel, the government emphasizes the construction of small, private shelters directly next to homes. In fact, it is mandatory to build a shelter for every new building.
As a result, despite frequent mass rocket and drone attacks, the number of civilian casualties has remained remarkably low.
A recent example is the Iranian missile attack, during which around 300 missiles and drones were intercepted by the Israeli air defense system.
Importantly, even the falling debris did not injure anyone.
Inspired by this proven model, the solutions we offer are designed to protect families directly at their place of residence – quickly accessible, reliable, and life-saving.

Designed for quick and safe shelter

Protection against missile and bomb attacks
In the event of a missile or bomb attack, it is essential to reach the shelter as quickly as possible.
Fortunately, alerts are issued immediately via all available channels – including media broadcasts, mobile notifications, and the modulated sound of air raid sirens.
Once we hear the sirens, we typically have only a few dozen seconds to take cover.
After entering the shelter, we should remain there until the alarm is officially canceled.
In most cases, air raid alerts last around few hour.
The all-clear signal is given by a continuous siren tone that lasts three minutes, indicating that it is safe to leave the shelter.

Why should you invest in a shelter?
Safety
The shelter provides protection against various threats, like natural disasters, armed conflicts and infrastructure failures.
Independence
The shelter lets you survive in isolated conditions by providing access to basic resources.
Calm
Knowing that you have a safe place of refuge gives you a sense of security and lets you enjoy peace.
