Reinforced Concrete Shelters and Metal Blast Doors

Shelter & Bunker designs and manufactures reinforced concrete shelters and metal blast doors inspired by real wartime experience. Our products include high-strength blast-resistant doors and advanced CBRN filtration systems. Each structure is engineered to protect against a wide range of threats. These include shrapnel, blast waves, collapsing structures, drone attacks, and natural disasters such as hurricanes or tornadoes.

The Shelter & Bunker brand was created within the Stal Impex sp. z o.o. company.
Stal Impex is a manufacturing company with 28 years of experience in the industry. One of our key specializations is the production of both shelters and blast doors.
Our standard bunkers are designed to accommodate 4 to 50 people during war, nuclear events, or chemical and biological attacks. These reinforced concrete shelters offer protection against shrapnel, blast waves, and extreme weather. They are engineered to ensure both safety and durability under pressure.
In addition to standard models, we also create customized protective structures for larger groups. These include shelters for 100 to 200 people, such as underground hospitals, emergency command centers, and other critical facilities. Each project is tailored to meet the structural and functional needs of civil defense and institutional clients.

Projects based on war experiences

Protective structures
Shelters and blast doors should be seen as essential safety tools. In fact, they serve a similar purpose to a fire extinguisher. For example, we do not buy an extinguisher while a fire is already burning. Instead, we prepare for emergencies ahead of time. Similarly, we should consider protective solutions before a threat arises. Therefore, shelters must be installed in advance. Only then can we ensure real protection for ourselves and our loved ones. Otherwise, we may find ourselves defenseless when danger comes.

Designed to protect families

Backyard Shelter
In the event of an alarm, we often have just seconds to reach safety. Therefore, protective structures should be placed close to homes. For example, this strategy is widely used in Israel – a country under constant threat for over 70 years. Moreover, every new building there must include a private shelter.
As a result, despite frequent rocket and drone attacks, civilian casualties remain low. For instance, during a recent Iranian missile strike, over 300 rockets and drones were intercepted, with no injuries – not even from falling debris.
Consequently, we follow this proven model. Our shelters and blast doors are designed to protect families directly at home – accessible, reliable, and ready when it matters most.

Protection against missile and bomb attacks
In the event of a missile or bomb attack, it is vital to reach a shelter as quickly as possible. Fortunately, alerts are issued immediately through multiple channels – including media, mobile apps, and air raid sirens. Once the sirens sound, we usually have just a few dozen seconds to take cover.
After entering the shelter, we should stay inside until the alarm is officially lifted. In most cases, air raid alerts last several hours. As a result, the all-clear signal is given by a continuous three-minute siren, indicating it is safe to leave.
